The Giving Tree Project for MV Elementary School                                                 By Olivia Haynes                     Hello!  The Missouri Valley Elementary is hosting its annual Giving Tree Project! It’s a project where we collect canned goods and other needed materials, make sure they are non-perishable items so they won’t spoil, for the Harrison County Food Pantry. Here are a few items the food pantry can always use: ·          Laundry detergent ·          Soap of any kind ·          Toilet paper ·          Shampoo/conditioner ·          Toothpaste/tooth brushes ·          Canned goods ·          Deodorant ·          Mac-n-cheese ·          Peanut butter ·          soup The Giving Tree Project starts on December 3 rd and goes until December 18.  Our goal is to collect 500 items! The Ronald McDonald House! Hi I’m Anthony and I’m a member of the 5 th Grade ELP (Extended Learning Program) and I’m here to tell you, When you drink a soda or something that has a Pop Tab on it give the Pop Tab to the 5 th Grade ELP And we’ll give it to the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald is a place where families go when their child is sick and the hospital there in is really really far away from home.
